Introduction
It is a reservoir that connects Osona with the Forest along its 17 km, was built to generate electricity for the textile factory Burés i Salvadó.
The hydroelectric power plant came into operation in 1905.
The accumulation of sand and lime at this point rebuilt the bottom and make the depth decrease by creating wetlands and favoring plants such as the bouquet, which makes these blooms similar to Havan cigars. But it also favors animals such as amphibians, fish, turtles and birds. Surely, in times of good weather we will hear the song of frogs and we will surprise some birds that can fly away.
