Introduction
| We are at La Vena fountain, one of the best known fountains of Planoles. Formerly these fountains were a meeting and celebration place for people of the town. |
| On the way to the fountain and also a little further up the fountain, we find a couple of bunkers from Line P (Line Pyrenees), one of the 10,000 that was projected and built between 1944 to 1948 under state secret. These bunkers should serve to defend themselves from an allied attacks and also from the maquis after the end of World War II. The enemy never got to be real and never had any utility. |
