Introduction

At the beginning of the ascent and practically until now, we have walked accompanied by a predominantly deciduous forest, dominated by oak, but sprinkled with other species such as shamrocks, terns, hazelnuts and ash trees.
At this point the dominant vegetation and protagonist is the red pine, accompanied by the Buxus sempervirens, the hazel and some specimens of oak.
Although in the obagues the pine forest of pine trees is of a natural nature, in many places it has been favored by human activity, as its growth is faster than the other competing species.
This species of pine can reach a height of 35 meters under favorable conditions. Its perhaps the most widely used commercial wood. It is a compact, resistant and easy to work wood, with very varied applications.
