Introduction
This is a small L-shaped cave which is about 2 m in depth and length.
The Montgrí Massif mainly comprises carbonate rocks from Mesozoic sediments, which have enabled the development of karstic processes. The formation of shafts, sinkholes and caves stand out among these phenomena.
“If we were to take a cross section of Montgrí though the middle, we would find an extensive network of cavities, shafts and galleries connected to each other which form a system resembling a Swiss cheese.”
