Introduction
You are now overlooking the Golf de la Morisca with la Foradada and Cap Castell in the foreground and the Albera mountains and the mountains of Cap de Creus in the background.
One of the best known and most visited caves on this stretch of coast is found in the Golf de la Morisca. It is an example of the dual process of erosion, firstly through karstic processes, and then subsequent marine erosion. The opening of la Foradada is a gallery which is 40 m long and 6 m high over the water level, passing through Cap Castell from one side to the other.
