Introduction
This is the Punta Ventosa area where, for many years, military defensive batteries were positioned, something which kept the area free from property development.
The maritime part of Montgrí comprises a series of imposing sea cliffs pierced by numerous caves, holes and shafts which mean that if we took a cross section of the massif, it would look like a Swiss cheese.
The views in front of you are spectacular, starting with Punta Milà, Cala Montgó and Torre Montgó in the foreground, with Empúria Brava, Roses and Cap de Norfeu behind them.
