Introduction
It is said that this place was an inspirational place for the Renaissance local poet Joan Sitjar (Castell d'Aro, 1850-1899). Rural owner, he collaborated with La Renaixença and was friend of Verdaguer. He ‘cultivated’ popular poetry, especially romance and “corranda”.
