Introduction
The rocky materials of this granite coast, release quartz granules when degraded that are transported by the waves until they sediment into the coves forming these unique thick sand beaches. The submerged rocks, are populated by algal communities of clean places. In the spring, carpets of Cystoseira mediterranea brown algae dominate. These environments are very rich and diverse from a biological point of view.
