Introduction

The meadows of grass, with trees and shrubs such as figs and thorns, carved by goats and sheep, tell us that we are in Can Pairet, inhabited by Josep and his family. The farm is of modest proportions, constructed with unworked stones from the area, bound together with lime mortar. The ground floor, with semicircular arches, is occupied by cattle. In front of the house there are some walls that are the remains of a mill, which indicates to us that in previous times, the Trencada stream would have flowed more strongly here.
