Introduction
We are now in "Ses Ulleres" with views to Punta de la Cova and s'Adolitx. We go under the "Les Penyes" sector. The predominating tree here is the stone pine, smaller and more twisted, as the conditions on the top of the rock and the wind from the sea make life difficult. Amongst these pine trees, the shrub layer is very similar to that of the holm oak. We find pistacia lentiscus, rosemary, false buckthorn, juniper and smilax aspera. Below all this, close to the rocks of the beach, there are certain plants more typical of sea environments like sea fennel. We find invasive plants like balsam or carpobrotus and prickly pear.
