Introduction
After the walk we've done, you can imagine the importance of water in the Ardenya-Cadiretes massif. This pool is a refuge for all types of fauna, both vertebrate and invertebrate. You just need to hide closeby and see the animals come down to drink in the early morning or in the evening. This is the time to discover hidden mammals like wild boar, genets, foxes and badgers. These animals have moved their area of residence to the valleys where there are still some fields used for crops. Once again, we find the three types of pine trees: white pine, stone pine and maritime pines.
