Introduction
We find ourselves at the top of a steep section. The Ardenya-Cadiretes massif meets the sea with heights of 90m above sea level. In the La Peñas sector the drop is sharp but despite this, the vegetation manages to grow all the way down to the beach. Stone pines, a few cork oaks, Pistacia Lentiscus, buckthorn and rosemary hang from between the rocks to touch the surface of the water. Looking to the North, we see the more rocky sector, where large, pink-coloured walls of granite tower over the water between Cala Vigatà and the Punta de la Cova and s'Adonix. This stretch comes just before we reach the Las Modistas lookout point (which we recommend you go to). Towards the South, the view of the coast reaches the Cap de la Pola point, between Sant Feliu and Tossa de Mar.
