Introduction
We are now in the Mascanada area, where the Les Comes stream passes through. The abundant groundwater used to come out at various fountains, mines, wells and windmills. The numerous farmhouses and their irrigation basins we find along by the stream until we reach the Mas de Can Assols demonstrate the fertility of the small Les Comes valley.
We go beneath the Mas Panarro farmhouse, where there are still vegetable gardens. Ahead we find Mas Abric and at the end, underneath the Les Comes mountain range, Mas Assols i Cal Duro.
