Introduction
The pine forest that is on the other side of the stream, is the highest of all the Cadiretes massif with a height of 23 meters and 4.5 meters of perimeter.
The water of the stream and its 250 or 300 years have allowed it to reach this size.
The Greeks brought the pines to the peninsula and have been used since ancient times for their timber, the precious pine nuts and because they help to stabilize and fix the soil, especially in areas with dunes. Burned areas have also been planted with pine trees.
