Introduction
To the right we have Pola’s torrent, here it is very tight between the rock wall and a terrace of granite sand, that is sediment of the granite converted into sand due to the decomposition of this rock.
The torrents, rivers and streams follow the paths marked by tectonic faults, the ruptures of the earth's crust.
The golden sand on the beaches of Tossa de Mar is the result of the buildup of granite sand mainly led by torrents, streams and coastal currents.
