We can also see other facilities on the landscape. As part of the landfill site at Can Mata, an Ecopark opened at Els Hostalets in 2010 - a waste treatment plant serving the metropolitan area of Barcelona and the south of the Anoia region. The Ecopark is a good example of the common effort for specialized waste treatment, sustainability, and environmental awareness.
The front of the building features a true "symphony" of colors. The colored bands represent musical notes that reproduce the score of the Virolai.
