Introduction
The p@leo_route Pau’s World is an educational itinerary designed to discover what life was like 12 million years ago in the area where we stand. Through several interpretation points, visitors can immerse themselves in the Miocene landscape and learn about one of the most important discoveries in Catalan paleontology: the fossil primate known as Pau.
Guided by Màrius, a paleontologist who accompanies us along the route, we will learn what fossils are, how they are formed, how they are recovered, and what they reveal about the evolution of life. At the same time, we will discover which other primate species have been found in the area and why this site is key to understanding the origins of our ancestors.
A route designed for all audiences, to enjoy the landscape, science, and the history of life in an engaging, accessible, and surprising way.
