Introduction
In front of you stands the school building, constructed in 1936 using stones from an ancient Romanesque church: Sant Miquel de la Comanda. If you look closely at the façade, you can still see the original stone blocks.
These schools are also the entrance to the Living Nativity Scene of Prats de Rei, one of the town’s most cherished traditions. Every year, between Christmas and Epiphany, the locals transform the streets into sets depicting the birth of Jesus.
The Nativity Scene features its own original music and concludes with the traditional Dance of the Four Corners, filling the town with magic and Christmas spirit.
