Introduction
Throughout the Collsacabra we find a large number of balms that allowed occupation since prehistoric times, later used as cabins, closing them with dry stone walls. You can still see a small wall at the bottom of the vauma.
The first settlers in Tavertet appeared in the Neolithic, taking advantage of cliffs and balms like this one, as shown by the large number of megalithic sites and graves like the one we saw in Sant Corneli.
We highlight the presence of a majestic monumental beech tree that gives the place, apart from shade, a fantastic look.
