Introduction
On the previous flat area we left behind the Puig de la Verdera, and we are now at the Puig de Sales, at an altitude of 157 m, slightly more pronounced along this ridge of the Montbaig.
In the surrounding area, the dominant vegetation is garrigue, with the small holm oak or garric mentioned during the ascent.
