Introduction

The current rambla was first projected by the Viladecans Town Council on February 27, 1948.

It was the first riera transformed into a pedestrian promenade. Along its route, two rows of tipuanas were planted. At the end of June, when flower petals have dried from the heat of summer, the ground is tinted orange like a fleeting flying carpet.

The Masia of Jaume Molins was located here. The property had a yard with geese and other poultry. During the day, geese roamed freely, covering much of the street, earning the nickname Rambla de las Ocas.

Large flowerbeds beneath the tipuanas, with plants such as capas de reina, nandinas, myrtle, or salvias, create a green, intimate, and pleasant atmosphere.
