Introduction
We just crossed the Socarrats pit. These guidelines loops and cool environments, favor the presence of ash groves. It is a forest that marks the transition between riverside forests and oak trees or pine forests on the slopes. The large leaf ash combines mainly with hazelnut, although you will also see trèmols and birch, some oak and, of course, a little muffin. In the clearings, the bush is made up of wild elders and roses. |
Along the low wall grows a beautiful specimen. Easy to recognise because of the leaf, divided from 5 to 15 leaflets. The fruits are these winged seeds that hang in dense clusters. In winter buds are big and black. |
The wood is of very good quality and has many applications. The leaves have been given to cattle in bad times. |
