Introduction
The typical hillside of Puig Cerverís is a typical alpine meadow, there are insects of all kinds constantly flying over the area looking for flowers such as Shepherd's Carnation (Dianthus deltoides) or Clover of Prairie (Trifolium pratense). |
We emphasize alpine liquorice (Trifolium alpinum) (foto), an edible flower, of sweet taste and used as a treat, hence the common name. It is a flower very appreciated by the chamois, that graze these meadows in search of these types of flowers and their roots. |
It is considered to have anti-inflammatory, expectorant and antitussive properties, among others. It is also recommended for the definitive development of infant teething. |
