Introduction
This facility, dedicated to lamb meat production, illustrates how sheep farming in the Llobregat delta has been one of the most important livestock activities in Catalonia since the Middle Ages. Today it is almost purely symbolic.
It is characterised by the use of leftover vegetable crops by the flocks, which also fertilise the fields.
