The path has very good viewpoints, it is comfortable to follow, and goes through different bioclimatic environments.

To the top of Tossa
From the five proposals, this is the longest one in Tossa de Mar, having lots to see and to think and reflect upon, so we will be walking very expectants to what we will find. We will begin following the GR 92, first by the side of the stream and immediately enter the massif, the long-distance path, number 92. It will accompany us a bit further up the hermitage of the Mare de Déu de Gracia, in fact, part of this section also coincides with number 2, 3, and 4 hiking routes proposed by the city council of Tossa de Mar within its municipal district.
So, without rushing, we will find various elements, related to the exploitation of the forest, such as coal production and extraction of cork. But we will also see witnesses of life in the forest, in stable settlements as the Iberians did, or isolated elements left by the humans of the Neolithic-Chalcolithic. Going up the hill we will find Garcia's “paradolmen”, a hidden treasure in the forest, in a very pleasant place to contemplate it. The natural viewpoints will also make our climb to be more pleasant, so tender that we will have reached the top of Cadiretes, and we will begin the descent on the other side entering a few meters in the municipality of Llagostera.
In good weather conditions, from the summit of Cadiretes you can see Barcelona and it is said that Mallorca also, besides Montseny and Canigó, among others. What we are sure to see above is the remains of an Iberian settlement, cribs and more, under the geodesic vertex.
Down below, we will find plants that deny us microclimates, we will see a deep rock gorge and we will finish finding Tossa de Mar’s stream, passing near the local kennel, the sewage treatment plant and a naturalized artificial pond.
Tips
TRAÇAT
- El recorregut és fa sense complicacions, principalment és pista. Farem uns quants trams seguint el mateix recorregut del GR 92 i anirem canviant amb la senyalització groga.
- Caldrà estar una mica atents amb les direccions indicades però està tot ben senyalitzat en cas de dubte.
AIGUA
- Es recomana portar força aigua, ja que no trobarem fonts.
PRECAUCIONS
- Recordeu hidratar-vos i protegir-vos del sol.
- Estigueu una mica alerta, ja que compartirem trams amb bicicletes tot terreny i potser coincidim en algun punt.
- També us caldrà estar atents si aneu al mirador de la vall de Roc: hi ha risc de caiguda si no es vigila.
METEO
- S'aconsella portar protecció solar i el cap protegit a l'estiu: hi ha trams amb poques ombres.
TERRENY
- Cal portar calçat còmode per caminar, preferentment per caminar sobre terra i pedra. Hi ha trams de roca i sorra amb pendent.
MATERIAL
- Una bateria de recanvi pel telèfon o un carregador amb emmagatzematge d'energia ens poden anar bé, ja que la ruta és llarga.
- Una càmera fotogràfica ens permetrà prendre imatges dels paisatges i racons.
- Uns bastons de tresc ens poden fer el seu servei, tant per les pujades com per les baixades.
ALTRES EQUIPAMENTS
- El nucli urbà de Tossa de Mar té molts edificis singulars i espais emblemàtics com la vil·la romana dels Ametllers, el far, la Vila Vella, el barri de Sa Roqueta i el parc de Sa Riera. Si podeu, val la pena fer-hi una passejada.
- Per saber més de la història de Tossa podeu visitar el Museu Municipal de Tossa de Mar, situat dins la Vila Vella, en un edifici privilegiat del segle XIV.
